A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to serve students in Minneapolis, MN, for the 2026-2027 school year. This role offers a full-time, 37.5-hour workweek supporting elementary and middle school students with a focus on delivering comprehensive psychological services that promote student success.
Location:
- One school building in Minneapolis, MN
Contract Duration:
- Start Date: August 31, 2026
- End Date: June 4, 2027
Caseload:
- Elementary K-5: 25-35 students
- Middle School 6-8: 20-30 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide counseling and behavioral interventions to promote positive outcomes
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and staff to support student learning and wellbeing
- Assist in crisis intervention efforts and contribute to student safety planning initiatives
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Minnesota School Psychologist license
- Experience working with elementary and middle school student populations
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and behavioral intervention strategies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
