Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Active and valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience administering, scoring, and interpreting psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
- Skilled in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans and IEPs
- Strong communication and consultation abilities with teachers, parents, and staff
- Deep understanding of federal and state education laws, including IDEA and Section 504
- Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced school settings
- Prior experience in a school-based role is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students referred for educational or behavioral concerns
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development and progress monitoring
- Provide targeted interventions and support services to students individually and in small groups
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding strategies, accommodations, and resources
- Offer crisis intervention and counseling when needed
- Support the implementation of school-wide initiatives to enhance student well-being and classroom climate
