Job Description

A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available in Midlothian, VA, serving two elementary schools. This contract position involves a caseload spanning Ashland Elementary and Mechanicsville Elementary. The role focuses primarily on psychological testing, eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and providing support with evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and testing for students
  • Lead and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with school staff to support student evaluations and interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and school guidelines
  • Provide consultation and recommendations to educational teams

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist License for the state of Virginia
  • Experience working in elementary education settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and IEP processes
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work onsite full time, 37.5 hours per week
