Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Texas School Psychologist license required
- Experience conducting K-12 psychological evaluations and re-evaluations
- Strong assessment, report writing, and communication skills
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) a plus, but not required
- Previous exposure to school-based environments preferred
- Flexibility and strong organization to manage itinerant assignments across multiple schools
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral assessments for K-12 students
- Provide expert recommendations and support for eligibility determinations and individualized education plans
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support positive student outcomes
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Participate in team meetings, staff development, and consultation with educational staff
- Travel between school sites in the district as needed for assigned caseloads
