Job Description

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Texas School Psychologist license required
  • Experience conducting K-12 psychological evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Strong assessment, report writing, and communication skills
  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) a plus, but not required
  • Previous exposure to school-based environments preferred
  • Flexibility and strong organization to manage itinerant assignments across multiple schools

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral assessments for K-12 students
  • Provide expert recommendations and support for eligibility determinations and individualized education plans
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support positive student outcomes
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings, staff development, and consultation with educational staff
  • Travel between school sites in the district as needed for assigned caseloads
