Job Description

This full-time, onsite contract opportunity offers the chance to support PreK12 learners from August 2026 through May 2027, working collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to nurture healthy, positive learning environments.

Core Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active NCDPI School Psychologist License (must provide current license)
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with ECATS
  • Previous experience in evaluation, counseling, and crisis response in school settings
  • Skilled in collaborating with teachers, families, and staff to develop student-centered solutions
  • Experience providing psychoeducational assessments and writing clear, comprehensive reports
  • Comfort serving diverse student populations, ideally PreK12

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct consultation and counseling to students and staff
  • Assist with addressing critical mental health and behavioral needs
  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for suspected disabilities
  • Participate actively on multi-disciplinary district-level teams
  • Hold conferences with parents to discuss interventions, results, and recommendations
  • Deliver staff training sessions and guidance on best practices
  • Support crisis response efforts as needed; contribute to a safe and supportive environment
  • Fulfill other related duties as assigned by your supervisor
