Job Description

Make a significant impact supporting students' well-being by serving as a school psychologist within a district setting near Midland, NC. This full-time, onsite contract position runs from early August to late May and gives you the opportunity to collaborate with teachers, families, and staff across PreK-12th grade campuses.

Your expertise will be utilized in a dynamic educational environment where youll help foster positive mental health, facilitate student success, and contribute to a strong, supportive school climate.

What We're Looking For:

  • Current, active NCDPI School Psychologist license
  • Demonstrated proficiency with ECATS
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, preferably within school settings
  • Effective communicatorable to collaborate and hold conferences with parents, teachers, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with providing counseling, consultation, and crisis response services in school environments
  • Ability to offer staff trainings and support multidisciplinary district-level teams
  • Comfortable working with PreK-12th grade students
  • Reliable, flexible, and organized
  • Must be able to work onsite exclusively (remote work not available)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Serve as a resource for mental health support and crisis intervention
  • Hold meetings with parents and integrate their input into student support plans
  • Complete comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students with suspected disabilities
  • Offer teacher and staff training on mental health and behavioral interventions
  • Participate in collaborative problem-solving and planning at both the school and district level
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors
