Job Description

Bring your expertise to a supportive environment dedicated to student well-being and academic success from early August 2026 through May 2027, with potential for planning days before and after the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia Educator Certificate with Psychology endorsement
  • Previous experience in school psychology or related environments preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, faculty, and families
  • Comfort and proficiency in maintaining organized, detailed daily service logs
  • Strong communication, assessment, and counseling abilities
  • Flexibility regarding caseloads and openness to discussions on age group preference and experience during the interview process
  • Commitment to fully onsite work, as remote/VOCO options are not available for this role

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group assessments to support educational planning and student development
  • Develop evidence-based intervention strategies for diverse student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote positive academic and social outcomes
  • Maintain accurate, timely records for all student interactions and services provided
  • Participate in special education eligibility meetings and contribute to the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Act as an advocate for students emotional and educational well-being
