Step into an engaging full-time opportunity supporting young learners in an elementary K-4 setting throughout the academic year. This contract position runs from August 2026 to May 2027, offering the chance to work closely within a welcoming educational environment in the Greater Cincinnati area. Your primary focus will be conducting approximately 55 initial and reevaluations for a single school, contributing valuable insights to student success and well-being.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as a School Psychologist in Ohio is required
- Previous experience with K-4 or elementary-age children preferred
- Strong knowledge of the evaluation process, student testing, and report writing
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families
- Solid organizational skills and capacity to manage a steady caseload
- Comfortable with in-person assessment and teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluationsinitial and re-evaluationaccording to regulatory guidelines
- Work on-site supporting students, staff, and families in a single elementary building
- Develop recommendations for student interventions, IEPs, and RTI strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate results with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide professional insight during staffings and consultations
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards at all times
