A full-time opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to provide in-person services at an elementary (K-4) building in the Greater Cincinnati area for the upcoming academic year, August 2026 through May 2027. This contract position offers a meaningful way to make a difference for students while collaborating with a dedicated educational team.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist license in Ohio (required)
- Experience conducting initial evaluations and re-evaluations, particularly with early elementary-aged students
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize and manage a caseload of approximately 55 assessments over the school year
- Collaborative approach with school staff, families, and outside agencies
- Comfortable working full-time (3537.5 hours/week) on a fixed school-year calendar
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete psychoeducational assessments for K-4 students, including initial and reevaluation cases
- Deliver counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop actionable intervention and support plans
- Consult on eligibility determinations and participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
- Support data-driven decision-making to enhance student outcomes
- Maintain thorough records and comply with all reporting and school district requirements
- Work onsite within a single elementary school setting
