Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and collaborating with educators and families
  • Strong understanding of state and federal regulations in special education
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students of diverse backgrounds

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student success
  • Participate in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
  • Support the creation of a positive, inclusive, and safe school environment
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and legal guidelines
