Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (state-specific as required)
  • Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a closely related field
  • Experience conducting student assessments, including cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and social evaluations
  • Skilled in developing and implementing intervention strategies and behavior management plans
  • Strong understanding of federal and state special education regulations (IDEA, Section 504)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for supporting student growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
  • Interpret assessment results for staff, families, and administrators
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing expertise in eligibility determination and service planning
  • Develop and recommend interventions designed to foster positive behavioral and educational outcomes
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to address academic and behavioral challenges
  • Support crisis intervention and provide short-term counseling as needed
