Job Description

A position is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support K-12 students with parentally placed private schools in the Jacksonville area. This role involves working with multidisciplinary teams in a flexible schedule arrangement, providing evaluation assistance and interpretation of results to help guide eligibility decisions for special education services.

Location: Middleburg, FL (Jacksonville Area)

Duration: Contract position for the current school year (1/5/26 - 5/28/2026)

Schedule: Approximately 3 days per week, with specific days flexible. Typical weekly breakdown may include virtual meetings, in-person evaluations at a district office, and report writing either virtually or on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in multidisciplinary referral meetings to determine whether evaluations are needed
  • Assist in interpreting evaluation results for teams and parents
  • Contribute to eligibility meetings and support IEP development as needed
  • Conduct or coordinate evaluations scheduled at the district office
  • Collaborate closely with private school staff and district teams

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Department of Health licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with K-12 populations in educational settings
  • Strong skills in assessment interpretation and multidisciplinary teamwork
  • Flexibility to work both virtually and in person, as required
