Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a licensed school psychologist to provide essential psychological services within a school district located in Middle River, MD. This full-time, onsite role involves supporting educational teams by conducting assessments, participating in IEP and SST meetings, and potentially providing counseling services. The position will complement an existing onsite school psychologist and does not require covering all five schools in the district, focusing instead on assigned caseloads to ensure quality support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational testing and assessments
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and Student Support Team (SST) meetings
  • Provide counseling services as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by school policies and state regulations

Qualifications:

  • Valid Maryland School Psychologist license is required
  • Masters degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience conducting assessments and facilitating IEP/SST meetings
