Job Description
A school district in Methuen, MA is seeking three licensed School Psychologists to support high school students. This contract opportunity offers flexibility with options for full-time or part-time work, Monday through Friday. You will be responsible for assessment, counseling, and intervention services for a caseload of students, playing a vital role in promoting student success and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
- Provide individual and group counseling to support academic, social, and emotional development
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop intervention plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist license in Massachusetts
- Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
- Strong understanding of psychoeducational assessment and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and maintain confidentiality
Location: Methuen, Massachusetts (contract position in a public school setting)
