Job Description

This full-time, onsite opportunity is for a School Psychologist serving K-12 students in Metairie, LA, available for the upcoming school year on a contract basis. The role involves providing comprehensive psychological services to support students academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs within a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to develop individualized intervention plans
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to implement effective strategies
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention to students as needed
  • Participate in eligibility meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
  • Monitor progress and adjust services based on student needs and outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Valid Tennessee School Psychologist License (TN PSYCH License) required
  • Experience working with K-12 populations preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, psychological theories, and educational laws
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
