Key Qualifications:
- Valid TN School Psychologist License required
- Proven skills in assessment, counseling, and consultation within educational settings
- Strong ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators
- Commitment to staying current with evidence-based practices and legal regulations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological assessments to determine students needs and abilities
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Support students through individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and social/emotional challenges
- Guide teachers and staff in developing effective strategies for student success
- Participate in crisis intervention and offer expert advice on intervention plans
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
