Job Description

Step into a dynamic, rewarding position as a Bilingual School Psychologist/Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) serving students across multiple educational sites. With a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week during the academic year, you will play a key role in supporting students from Early Childhood (ages 3-5) through 12th grade. This itinerant opportunity allows you to make a lasting impression at various schools, offering valuable psychological services and direct support.

Qualifications:

  • Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential from the Board of Examiners of Psychologists
  • Proficiency in both Spanish and English is required
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting
  • Completion of TEA fingerprinting required prior to start, unless already completed for another public district (results may take up to 7 days)
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability to work in various school environments

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for a diverse caseload averaging 9 students per month, ages 3 through 12th grade
  • Participate in and contribute to ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings, providing expert recommendations and supportive collaboration to multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver consultation, intervention, and counseling services to help students maximize their educational experience
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation and engage with staff and families to promote positive outcomes
  • Seamlessly manage itinerant assignments across multiple school locations as determined
