Qualifications and Requirements:
- Masters degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Valid Arizona school psychologist license
- Current IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in assessments, counseling, and the development of intervention plans
- Ability to effectively manage caseloads and prioritize student well-being
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education and intervention plans (IEPs/504s)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student academic and social-emotional success
- Deliver direct services such as counseling, crisis intervention, and targeted behavioral supports
- Consult with educators and families to create effective school-wide and classroom-based strategies
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with state and district policies
