Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience working with children and adolescents in school settings preferred
  • Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
  • Strong knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and eligibility determination
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and report-writing skills
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and with compassion

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to develop and implement interventions and support plans
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
  • Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support as needed
  • Provide consultative support and professional development for staff on topics related to mental health, behavioral strategies, and learning differences
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and comply with federal, state, and local regulations
