Job Description
An on-site school psychologist is needed in the Columbus, OH area to support K-8 charter schools within a well-established network. This contract role offers the opportunity to work full-time (approximately 35 hours per week) with a focus on serving diverse student populations with various disabilities. The position starts ASAP and extends through the end of the school year, with some details still being finalized.
Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, collaborating with school principals and special education teams, and helping develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs. The psychologist will provide expertise in supporting students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development across multiple schools in the charter network.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Valid Ohio School Psychologist License
- Experience working with school-age children, especially within K-8 settings
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills compatible with a variety of disabilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations and improving educational outcomes
