Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a contracted school psychologist for a full-time opportunity in a middle school setting. This role is designed for professionals passionate about providing comprehensive psychological services and assessments in educational environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania school psychologist certification/licensure required
- Demonstrated experience working in a school setting, particularly in urban environments
- Reliable transportation to ensure consistent onsite attendance
- Ability to complete all Pennsylvania clearances prior to start
- Comfortable working fully onsite, five days a week from 8:30AM4PM
- Proven skill in conducting evaluations, assessments, and occasional OOD evaluations
- Strong interpersonal skills, supporting students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced district and embrace diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete psychoeducational evaluations for both in-district and occasional out-of-district referrals
- Provide direct support within the middle school environment, handling overflow as needed
- Deliver professional consultation and recommendations to teachers, school staff, and families
- Maintain detailed documentation aligned with local and state guidelines
- Collaborate with educational teams to develop effective intervention strategies
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical practice at all times
- Remain onsite during all assigned work hours without schedule accommodations
