This full-time contract opportunity runs from September 2026 through June 2027, designed for a passionate and skilled professional ready to make a meaningful difference in student lives. As a School Psychologist, you'll split your time between an elementary and a high school site, working closely with diverse learners and dedicated staff.
What you bring:
- Current, valid Oregon School Psychologist license (required)
- Proven experience working with K-12 student populations
- Expertise in performing direct therapy, as well as psychological evaluations and assessments
- In-depth knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to navigate the unique needs of both younger and older students
- Commitment to inclusive, student-centered approaches
Your impact:
- Deliver direct social-emotional and behavioral interventions to students with a variety of disabilities and support needs
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, interpreting results to inform best practices and service delivery
- Develop and help implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring all students have equitable access to learning
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents/caregivers, sharing insights and recommendations to foster positive outcomes
- Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts within each school site
- Maintain accurate records and high ethical standards per state and federal guidelines
