Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in students lives by supporting multiple campuses as a School Psychologist in the Plano area. This contract role offers the chance to deliver essential psychological services for a diverse elementary and high school caseload. With responsibilities that span several locations, youll ensure students receive the support they need while adhering to state and district standards.

What Were Looking For:

  • Valid and active Texas School Psychologist License
  • Recent experience in school-based settings
  • Demonstrated skill in conducting Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs)
  • Background in managing multiple evaluations and strict timelines
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
  • Reliable transportation for required travel between 34 campuses
  • Comfort working exclusively onsiteno remote options available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Student Support Team (SST) meetings to address student needs
  • Obtain consent and serve as case manager for Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs)
  • Conduct thorough psychoeducational assessments
  • Attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to share evaluation findings
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with state and district guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with special education professionals, administrators, teachers, and families
  • Support approximately 34 campuses within the district, traveling as needed to fulfill student needs
