What You'll Need:

• Valid IL PSYCH credentials
• Experience working with middle school students, or the desire to grow in this setting
• Demonstrated skills in assessment, counseling, and intervention within a school environment
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to professional ethics, continuous learning, and student advocacy

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments and interpret results to guide educational planning
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions for students dealing with diverse challenges
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administration, and parents regarding intervention strategies and student progress
• Develop, implement, and monitor behavior plans, as well as participation in IEP meetings
• Support school-wide initiatives to promote inclusive, positive, and safe learning spaces
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with state and district policy
