Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state certification or license in School Psychology
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing intervention strategies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Understanding of special education law and processes
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
  • Interpret assessment results and participate in eligibility meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement student support plans
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students
  • Offer consultation to staff regarding classroom supports and behavioral management
  • Assist in crisis prevention and response when needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with regulations
