Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
  • Knowledge of IEP process, special education eligibility, and best practices in intervention
  • Strong communication and consultation skills for working with students, staff, and parents
  • Ability to organize, manage caseload, and prioritize effectively

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments to identify student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and educational staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and intervention services to students experiencing academic, behavioral, or emotional difficulties
  • Consult with educators and families on classroom strategies and supports
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal guidelines
  • Engage proactively in fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive school climate
