Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Active state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Familiarity with assessments, intervention planning, and IEP process
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, solution-oriented, and organized
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify students needs
- Interpret assessment results and provide written, comprehensive reports
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs, 504 plans, and behavioral interventions
- Offer direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and families
- Implement evidence-based strategies to support student engagement and achievement
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to compliance requirements and ethical standards
