Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Active School Psychologist licensure within the state is required
- Demonstrated school-based experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education compliance
- Ability to provide counseling and behavioral support for students across all grade levels
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to ethical standards and ongoing professional development
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students in elementary, middle, and high school
- Provide individual and group counseling services, social skills training, and crisis intervention
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering expert advice and recommendations
- Support implementation of school-wide initiatives that promote positive behavioral health and student well-being
- Maintain confidential and accurate documentation in accordance with state and federal laws
