Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This contract position spans from August 2024 to June 2025, offering the chance to work with K-12 students across two local schools near Mason, MI. The role combines both in-person and hybrid services, enabling you to engage students directly while balancing some flexibility in your work environment.

Ideal Qualifications and Experience:
- Active School Psychologist licensure (as required by Michigan regulations)
- Previous experience with K-12 populations, preferably in a school setting
- Strong ability to communicate complex topics clearly to students, staff, and families
- Organizational skills to manage a dynamic caseload split between two schools
- Adept at both in-person and virtual (hybrid) service delivery
- Genuine passion for supporting students mental health and academic progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students learning, behavior, and emotional needs
- Develop and assist with implementing effective intervention plans
- Participate as a collaborative member of multidisciplinary teams
- Consult with educators, parents, and administrators concerning individual students and school-wide initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with applicable guidelines
- Engage in professional development to stay informed of best practices in school psychology
