This contract position spans from August 2024 to June 2025, offering the chance to work with K-12 students across two local schools near Mason, MI. The role combines both in-person and hybrid services, enabling you to engage students directly while balancing some flexibility in your work environment.

Ideal Qualifications and Experience:

• Active School Psychologist licensure (as required by Michigan regulations)
• Previous experience with K-12 populations, preferably in a school setting
• Strong ability to communicate complex topics clearly to students, staff, and families
• Organizational skills to manage a dynamic caseload split between two schools
• Adept at both in-person and virtual (hybrid) service delivery
• Genuine passion for supporting students mental health and academic progress

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students learning, behavior, and emotional needs
• Develop and assist with implementing effective intervention plans
• Participate as a collaborative member of multidisciplinary teams
• Consult with educators, parents, and administrators concerning individual students and school-wide initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with applicable guidelines
• Engage in professional development to stay informed of best practices in school psychology
