Key Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility in Michigan
  • Experience performing assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering crisis intervention
  • Strong understanding of K-12 educational settings and diverse student populations
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized educational planning
  • Provide counseling and mental health support for students as needed
  • Deliver crisis intervention and consultation for behavioral and learning concerns
  • Maintain detailed, confidential student records and documentation
  • Advise on best practices for promoting students social-emotional development
