Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a closely related field
  • Experience conducting assessments, developing interventions, and supporting students with varied needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to manage sensitive situations with empathy and discretion
  • Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and academic assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and support plans
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies promoting student well-being and success
  • Help facilitate initiatives that improve classroom behavior, attendance, and mental health awareness
  • Support crisis response efforts and assist in creating a safe, inclusive school climate
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed, ensuring the best outcomes for each student
