Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Current state licensure or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
- Solid understanding of educational assessments, data interpretation, and IEP development
- Effective communication and consultation skills with students, teachers, and parents
- Familiarity with a variety of counseling and intervention techniques
- Previous experience within a school environment is highly desirable
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Provide direct counseling services and interventions to students as needed
- Help identify and address learning, behavioral, and emotional challenges
- Contribute to crisis intervention and prevention efforts
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of services
