• Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist (required)
• Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or closely related field
• Experience conducting evaluations, assessments, and providing recommendations for students with diverse needs
• Strong knowledge of federal and state special education regulations
• Effective communication, consultation, and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
• Ability to organize documentation and maintain accurate records
• Commitment to ethical and culturally responsive practice

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct and consultative support to students, teachers, and families
• Participate in problem-solving teams, offering insights to address academic, behavioral, or social-emotional concerns
• Support crisis interventions and contribute to the development of positive behavioral interventions
• Maintain confidentiality in all student matters and adhere to school policies
• Regularly communicate findings and recommendations in both written reports and team meetings
