Job Description

Step into an impactful role as a school psychologist, supporting high school students throughout the academic year. This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August 10, 2026, through May 14, 2027, with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 7:30AM to 3:00PM. Engage directly with a caseload of approximately 30 students, collaborating with educators and families to foster academic, emotional, and social well-being.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois School Psychologist license (required)
• Experience working with high school students preferred
• Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
• Comfort working onsite in a school setting
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethical practices, and student advocacy
• Excellent communication and collaborative abilities

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting evaluations for special education eligibility and crisis intervention
• Developing and implementing evidence-based strategies and supports for students
• Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Providing individual and group counseling as needed
• Consulting with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student success
• Maintaining clear, up-to-date documentation of services provided
