Job Description
Empower students and educators by using your expertise as a School Psychologist. In this rewarding contract role, youll provide critical support and assessments to foster a productive and healthy learning environment for children of all backgrounds and abilities. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- California School Psychologist certification required.
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments, IEP development, and behavioral interventions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
- Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks is a plus.
- A commitment to inclusivity and culturally responsive practices.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services.
- Develop and review IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Offer individual and group counseling to support students emotional and behavioral development.
- Consult with educators, parents, and administrators to implement effective interventions and strategies.
- Provide crisis response and risk assessments as needed.
- Support initiatives that promote school-wide mental health and positive behavior.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with all state and federal guidelines.
