Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid state certification or license to practice as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience working with preschool or early childhood populations preferred
• Proficient in assessment tools and individualized education planning (IEP) processes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with young children and families
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, specialists, and parents

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for preschool-aged children to determine eligibility and need for special education services
• Serve as case manager for students, coordinating services and facilitating IEP meetings
• Develop and implement strategies to address behavioral, academic, and social-emotional needs within the preschool setting
• Consult with teachers and parents, providing guidance and resources to support student growth and well-being
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all state and federal special education mandates
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic support is provided to each student
