In this role, youll provide comprehensive psychological services to students, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to promote academic, social, and emotional success. Your expertise will play a key part in fostering an inclusive, student-centered learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Full license as a School Psychologist or Temporary/Full Approval from the Michigan Department of Education
- Proven ability to collaborate with general education professionals
- Experience working with school-age children
- Strong knowledge of multidisciplinary assessment practices
- Familiarity with curriculum development and behavioral support strategies
- (Preferred) Background serving students with special education needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for K12 students to support academic and behavioral planning
- Work alongside teachers, counselors, and families to address the needs of each student
- Develop intervention plans and monitor progress
- Provide consultation and recommendations regarding curriculum and behavioral supports
- Support the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Assist with school-wide initiatives promoting positive mental health
