Key Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
• Strong understanding of special education laws and processes
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
• Previous experience working with middle school-aged students preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for middle school students as part of the special education process
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective interventions and supports
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing assessment interpretations and recommendations
• Provide short-term counseling to students as needed
• Maintain thorough documentation in alignment with state and district requirements
• Serve as a resource for staff on matters related to student mental health and behavioral supports
