As a School Psychologist working primarily with middle school evaluations, you'll be a key member of a multidisciplinary team, utilizing your expertise to assess student needs, support social-emotional development, and contribute to individualized education planning. Key Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for state certification)
- Experience conducting comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Strong knowledge of evaluation tools and best practices for middle school populations
- Proficiency in developing, interpreting, and presenting evaluation reports
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
Essential Duties:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments for middle school students as part of evaluation and re-evaluation processes
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and parents
- Support prevention and intervention initiatives that address academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and timelines
