Job Description

This full-time, contract opportunity focuses on supporting elementary students through comprehensive assessments, evaluations, and IEP participation. Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification for Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
  • Strong assessment skills, with the ability to administer and interpret psychological evaluations
  • Familiarity with the IEP process and special education support
  • Compassionate, team-oriented, with excellent communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and psychological evaluations for students to determine educational needs
  • Participate actively in the development, support, and implementation of IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
  • Provide recommendations for classroom interventions and accommodations
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal laws
  • Offer crisis intervention and consultation services as needed to support the school community
