Job Description

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid licensure or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist in Texas
  • Experience performing psychological assessments, developing intervention plans, and providing direct services to students
  • Strong background in behavioral consultation, response-to-intervention strategies, and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to special education
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students referred for special services
  • Develop evidence-based intervention strategies and participate in the creation and implementation of IEPs
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to address academic and behavioral challenges
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support services as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and submit required documentation in a timely manner
  • Act as a vital member of student support and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic educational experiences
