Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid licensure or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist in Texas
- Experience performing psychological assessments, developing intervention plans, and providing direct services to students
- Strong background in behavioral consultation, response-to-intervention strategies, and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to special education
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students referred for special services
- Develop evidence-based intervention strategies and participate in the creation and implementation of IEPs
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to address academic and behavioral challenges
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support services as needed
- Maintain accurate records and submit required documentation in a timely manner
- Act as a vital member of student support and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic educational experiences
