Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting results
- Knowledge of interventions for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Strong communication and consultation skills for working collaboratively
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes is preferred
- Flexible and adaptable with a strong sense of initiative
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for eligibility determinations and student support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective IEPs and intervention plans
- Provide direct counseling or skill-building sessions for students as needed
- Support staff with strategies and resources to support students well-being
- Consult with families to enhance communication and partnership
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with all guidelines
- Participate in student support and problem-solving team meetings
