Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a closely related field
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations, assessments, and report writing
  • Strong understanding of IEP/504 processes and special education law
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents
  • Ability to provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred, but open to candidates eager to grow in this field

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to guide educational planning
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Offer individual and group counseling to support students academic, social, and emotional development
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to recommend interventions and accommodations
  • Provide crisis response and intervention when necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
