Job Description

An opportunity is available for a full-time School Psychologist to support a K-12 charter school located in Lowell, MA, for the academic year. This contract position offers the chance to work within a dynamic educational setting dedicated to fostering student growth and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments across the K-12 student population.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Provide counseling and consultation to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with district and state requirements.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives that support student success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist licensure.
  • Proven experience conducting psychological assessments in K-12 educational settings.
  • Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and staff.
  • Ability to manage a full caseload, typically assigned to one school.

Location and Schedule:

  • Position located in Lowell, Massachusetts.
  • Full-time hours with standard school year schedule.
  • Assigned to one school within the district.
