Job Description
A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2024-2025 academic year at a K-12 public school in Lowell, MA. This role involves providing comprehensive psychological services to students across all grade levels, supporting their academic and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Implementing behavior management strategies and supports
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and consultations
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist license required
- Experience working with K-12 students in school settings
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational regulations
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with school personnel and families
- Ability to manage a full caseload with professionalism and care
Additional Information:
- Position is based at one school within the district
- Supervision support may be provided as needed
