Make an immediate impact as a School Psychologist supporting students and educational teams in a welcoming school environment near Louisville, KY. In this contract position, you'll play a crucial role in helping students succeed socially, emotionally, and academically, collaborating closely with both staff and families.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
- Active School Psychologist certification or eligibility in Kentucky
- Experience with assessment, intervention, and counseling strategies for school-aged children
- Skilled in conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and providing recommendations
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students needs
- Support the development and implementation of intervention plans and IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention when required
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contributing expertise to student support plans
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and follow compliance protocols
