Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid California School Psychologist credential (PPS credential)
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments, behavior intervention, and IEP processes
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with current best practices in student mental health and interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group assessments to identify student strengths and needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to design strategies for academic and emotional support
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and skill-building sessions as needed
- Offer guidance in data-driven decision making, progress monitoring, and effective classroom accommodations
- Support prevention, early intervention, and consultation programs within the school community
