A school psychologist opportunity is available in Lorain, OH, to support student development and well-being within a school setting. This contract position focuses on providing psychological services that foster academic success and emotional health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies to address behavioral and emotional concerns
- Assist in crisis intervention and develop preventive programs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement and mental health
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a school psychologist
- Experience working within educational environments

- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel
- Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
