Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, progress monitoring, and data-driven interventions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to provide direct and consultative services to students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Participate in development and review of IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide individual and group counseling interventions for students
- Serve as a resource for teachers and staff regarding behavioral management, crisis intervention, and classroom strategies
- Collaborate with families to foster student success and connect them to community resources
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with all regulations and ethical standards
- Support implementation of school-wide mental health initiatives and preventative programs
