Qualifications and Experience:
- Current School Psychologist certification
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of special education laws and assessment procedures
- Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Strong communication, consultation, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for fostering positive student outcomes in diverse school communities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group assessments to identify students strengths and challenges
- Develop and support implementation of intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility decisions
- Consult with educators and families regarding student needs and supports
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely records
- Promote safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments
