Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and required re-evaluations for students
• Complete thorough assessments for special education eligibility
• Accurately interpret testing results, preparing comprehensive written reports
• Actively participate in eligibility, IEP, and parent meetings, providing valuable insights
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and administrators
• Assist with the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans
• Maintain clear, compliant documentation while adhering to mandated timelines

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree or Specialist-level credential in School Psychology
• Current, valid Virginia license as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience working in a school setting is highly advantageous
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting evaluations, participating in IEP and eligibility meetings, and report writing
