Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Michigan School Psychologist credential is required
- Previous experience in school settings, with a preference for evaluation-heavy roles
- Familiarity with transition-aged students and related programs is highly valued
- Strong assessment, consultation, and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently on site and communicate effectively with educational teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students primarily in transition programs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and review evaluation results and recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student needs and plan appropriate interventions
- Offer consultation on student placements, learning supports, and behavioral strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation and timely reports in accordance with district protocols
