Empower students and support educational communities as a dedicated School Psychologist serving a vibrant school environment on a contract basis. Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited program
- Experience administering psychological and academic assessments for diverse student populations
- Strong background in behavioral intervention and crisis response
- Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate effectively in multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with special education laws and best practices in a school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students referred for special education or behavioral concerns
- Provide direct and consultative mental health services, including counseling, skill-building, and crisis intervention
- Develop, review, and update IEPs, collaborating closely with staff and families
- Offer strategies to support student learning, promote positive behavior, and enhance academic and social success
- Deliver professional development and consultation for teachers and parents on effective intervention techniques
- Assist with data collection, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation
- Advocate for student well-being and equitable access to educational resources
