Qualifications and Skills:
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Active Colorado School Psychologist credential/license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing comprehensive reports
- Familiarity with MTSS/RTI frameworks and IEP processes
- Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Dedication to fostering safe, inclusive, and positive school climates
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual psychological assessments to support educational planning and intervention
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create effective learning environments
- Participate in child study teams and multidisciplinary meetings
- Develop and monitor students intervention plans
- Provide direct support through counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation
- Guide staff in academic and behavioral interventions based on evidence-based practices
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with all legal requirements
