This contract opportunity spans from ASAP through the end of the school year as well as the upcoming academic year, serving students from PreK through 12th grade. With a manageable caseload of 35 students and a convenient four-day workweek (Monday through Thursday), youll make a tangible difference while enjoying a work-life balance.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado School Psychologist license
- CDE credentials as either a School Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering positive learning environments and student growth
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, interventions, and individualized student support plans
- Conduct evaluations and offer recommendations to promote academic and social success
- Work closely with educators, parents, and administrators to address student needs
- Support crisis intervention and behavioral planning as necessary
- Deliver counseling services for students dealing with academic, social, or emotional challenges
- Contribute to the development and implementation of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
