Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students each day by providing essential psychological services in a supportive educational environment. As a contracted School Psychologist, youll work closely with educators, students, and families to promote academic, social, and emotional success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain required certification as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience in a school-based or educational setting preferred
  • Familiarity with assessment tools, report writing, and multi-disciplinary collaboration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to assess students cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social/emotional functioning
  • Interpret data and work collaboratively with special education and general education teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and consultative mental health services, addressing the diverse needs of students
  • Support the implementation of evidence-based interventions, crisis response, and behavior management strategies
  • Serve as a resource for teachers, families, and administrators by sharing expertise regarding learning and behavioral concerns
  • Participate in school and district-level meetings, collaborating on best practices to foster student well-being
  • Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to compliance requirements, and protect student confidentiality at all times
